Our collection of blankets are limited due to the size of our flock and the fleeces we collect each year. We therefore consider all our blankets to be limited edition and are numbered to reflect this. Every year the colour of the wool changes so there are different blankets woven year on year. We try to make subtle but carefully selected changes to reflect the wool that’s gathered every year.

The wool from the Shetland sheep is naturally soft and is thought to be the one of the best wools in the British Isles due to the crimp and strength of the yarn. It’s natural colour comes in shades of cream through to dark brown and we try to separate the darker wools to give contrast to the blankets. We do however dye some wool to give colour into the collection by using non chemical dyes and colours also change year on year. We also weave in some merino wool to make the blankets extra soft.

Our blankets can be used for placing on beds or on the back of your sofa as a throw. Indeed anywhere you think needs a beautifully woven, warm blanket. Due to their neutral colour they will make a lovely addition to any bedroom or sitting room.

Our scarves are similar in weight and long, a full 2.5m which ensures that it when wrapped around the neck leaves enough to tie. The colours too are natural and are woven on the loom at the same time as the blankets. The colours are natural making them easy to match with different outfits. They too have merino wool woven into them to ensure that the scarf is soft around the neck.
